MCRs from different class years get to meet and mingle |
MCRs gathered at the Reuse Centre last week for our annual Winter Potluck. We had tonnes of food and great conversation throughout the evening. New MCRs got to chat with long-term volunteers, and we were even joined by a few future MCRs, who have already been accepted to the 2015 class.

We had so much delicious food! |
MCR Kristin - who is also the Reuse Centre Coordinator - was on hand to give a tour. She answered questions about how the Centre has performed since the big move. Activity at the Reuse Centre has increased by leaps and bounds since the grand opening, and Kristin is excited to pilot a partnership where residents can drop off Reuse Centre donations at any of our Eco Stations.

New and future MCRs get to chat with long term volunteers |
Rodney chatted a bit about the exciting developments coming up in 2015, including the new Kennedale Eco Station (opening in Spring 2015), and the latest phase of our project to monitor houses with large volumes of garbage. He also mentioned opportunities available to volunteers in the coming year, like online mapping and the Go Bagless campaign.

Rodney chats a bit about what's to come in 2015 |
We were thrilled to recognize four MCRs from 2014 who completed their volunteer commitment! Congratulations Justin, Leah, Jessica, and Julie!
All in all, we had a great evening of catching up with each other, and can't wait to do it again soon! Thank you to Kristin and all of the Reuse Centre staff for hosting our event, and for helping with set up and clean up.
Keep scrolling for more pictures of the evening.
