A big THANK YOU to all MCRP volunteers who helped out at the 2011 Home and Garden Show at the Edmonton Expo Centre!! This years event had a nice twist in order to embrace the show theme of Renew, Restore, and Refresh. The Waste Branch teamed up with Linda Bodo who upcycles items heading to the landfill into functional home décor. Some of you may have met Linda at the November volunteer conference in a workshop creating chandeliers from water bottles and chicken wire.
